The plan includes a queryable registry of physical and digital assets across all NSF PCL nodes and interested self-driving labs, a registry of data schemas and metadata, and a Cross-Node Agent using Model Context Protocol so agents at different facilities can cooperate. Planned activities include a workshop with the other PCL nodes and interested self-driving labs on interoperability, data schemas, and ontologies, followed by cross-node research workshops and shared onboarding material. A concrete example: new materials for quantum applications developed at another node could be integrated into devices and tested at ICoN-PCL.
